Anglia signs analog powerhouse Intersil

Wisbech, UK, 18 June 2009 – Anglia today announced that it has won a franchise agreement with Intersil, a world leader in analog and power IC solutions. The agreement allows Anglia to sell and support Intersil’s entire portfolio of standard analog ICs across the UK and Ireland.

The Intersil franchise gives Anglia a complete portfolio of analog ICs, from building block devices to high precision solutions for use in industrial, instrumentation and medical applications. According to Steve Rawlins, Chief Executive Officer of Anglia, “With the addition of the Intersil line customers can source the complete analog signal chain from Anglia. Following this agreement, we can reach out to many new customers, as well as extend our relationship with our established customer base.”

Peter Schubert, Sales Director Distribution Europe at Intersil commented, “We were looking to add more and deeper technical knowledge to our distribution network, and Anglia convinced us fully of their ability to deliver this expertise. Their solution based engineering department is of particular interest to us. With these strengths, we are confident that they will take our world class technology to a whole range of customers that are not currently using Intersil products.”
