Top retailer to use ITESOFT.FreeMind for Invoices to automate processing of 100,000+ invoices
6 August 08 -- Harvey Nichols is to deploy a major automated invoice processing system to capture and electronically process in excess of 100,000 paper invoices into their Cedar Accounting System.

The international retailer will use ITESOFT.FreeMind for Invoices from ITESOFT, the leading developer of automated document capture, processing and management software solutions, to process thousands of invoices and improve the business efficiencies of this function.
Previously the retailer’s invoice processing was done manually. Matching of the supplier invoices to paper copies of purchase orders and goods received notes was both time and labour intensive, but the ITESOFT.FreeMind for Invoices will automate this process.
The invoices will be scanned when received and the ITESOFT solution’s full-text reading, image optimisation and document matching features will reduce the need for manual intervention, accelerating invoice matching and approval processes.
During the scanning process, the ITESOFT solution will capture invoice information together with an image and upload it into the retailer’s accounts system. Financial staff can then view and track the process of invoices as needed assisting in query resolution and speeding up the search and retrieval process.
