New product range combines UTM, traffic intelligence and centralised management functionality
phion AG is one of the leading providers of communication protection solutions and has now launched a new product range under the name “phion M”. The UTM appliances are available in four versions - all of which are designed specifically to address the requirements of mid-sized companies. phion M will replace the netfence M product family.
The demand for comprehensive security solutions climbs constantly as threats become increasingly complex and diverse. Organisations today are often faced with the tough challenge of integrating their solution – which often comprises individual components such as firewall appliances, intrusion prevention, anti-spam, anti-virus, anti-spyware and content protection - into a homogenous and centrally manageable system .
“We have addressed this challenge with phion M and can now provide a perfectly-tuned Unified Threat Management (UTM) solution“, explains Klaus Gheri, CTO and co-founder of phion. “For mid-sized organisations with up to 1,000 users phion M represents an all-in-one solution that provides comprehensive and effective protection by combining leading firewall and VPN technology as well as content and email security into one single appliance“, Gheri continues.
Central administration with the netfence Management Centre
All phion M appliance functions can be managed centrally from one GUI. In addition the appliances can also be integrated into a netfence Management Centre so that companies can manage their security infrastructure efficiently and save resources.
